This resort features well built rooms amid a nature reserve. The views are fine from most points on the hotel. Soundproofing worked well, ensured quiet and undisturbed relaxation. I enjoyed watching monkeys at dusk and dawn from my balcony.
The boat transfer to the resort was slightly disorganized upon arrival. I waited a short time after a long trip.

My room included climate control. There was a well stocked minibar. The bathroom had two separate sinks and a rainfall shower. I slept comfortably each night due to effective black-out curtains.

The staff are very polite. They tried to provide assistance at all times. Check-in was fast and efficient. I felt welcome by everyone I encountered throughout the resort.

The spa provides treatments. I got a hot stone massage for 90 minutes, it was relaxing. The resort has a private beach. Access is only available by boat, there is a pier.

the breakfast spread catered to my needs. i found a sea view though my room was the garden room. the room was spacious like a little suite with a big balcony, and i enjoyed privacy. the exclusive feel was because i had to hike across a steep hill to access the beach.
the exterior of the hotel also required updates in parts. walking up the stairs and hills to my room was a bit much because of the heat and humidity. this became a drag.

Picturesque and Quiet Getaway

The walk to the city via the monkey trail was a highlight for my family (my kids loved it). The check-in staff were attentive, and my bags were promptly delivered to my room. I upgraded to a sea view room with half board. It was definitely worth it. The beach offers a special experience and is perfect for relaxation.

Staff members are friendly and service-oriented. They try to accommodate requests. The Club Lounge personnel was particularly lovely and helpful. The reception staff shows good manners when arranging bookings.
